It’s often difficult to parse the good from the bad in popular music. Streaming services make it nearly impossible to sift through the thousands of songs released on any given day. That’s why, here at Charted, we round up some of the latest hottest tracks. You’ll likely recognize a few names here and there, and other times, you might stumble upon your next obsession. Don’t worry, we’ll only serve you the cream of the crop – pop and R&B earworms so good that you’ll completely upend your weekly listening habits.

Here are 4 fresh songs to add to your playlist:

“Wild” – Kelsy Karter & the Heroines

Kelsy Karter has always possessed that ungodly voice. With her new song “Wild,” she reaches dizzying new heights inside an ’80s pop/rock tornado. Guitars crash like thunder, as her voice crescendoes and literally breaks the cosmos. “I’ll be your wild child, love on the run / So hold me closer, I’m your loaded gun,” she sings, gliding over the vintage melody. It’s a stunner, a real career-definer, and not to be missed.

“Wild” is lifted from Karter’s brand new album, Love Made Me Do It.

“Second Wind” – Daniel Seavey

Daniel Seavey gets a little beachy with his latest. “Second Wind” intoxicates the senses as its synths and percussive elements lapping at his voice like waves upono sandy beaches. The groove winds and winds. It sidewinds in time with Seavey’s silky tenor. “I thought I was left for dead, but something’s happenin’ again,” he muses over sparkling production. It shimmers in the sun, taking the listener’s hand and guiding them into a state of utter bliss.

“Pink Pony Club” – Jordy

It’s Chappell Roan‘s world; we’re just living in it. For his part, Jordy takes a gigantic leap into Roan’s sphere with a cover of “Pink Pony Club.” The synths pound louder and hotter, with Jordy’s signature style feeling as though the song is actually his. “Oh, Santa Monica, you’ve been too good to me / Won’t make my mama proud, it’s gonna cause a scene,” he calls through the sonic mist. In its musical explosion, a special kind of glitter rains down upon Jordy’s shoulders. We all could use a good time at the Pink Pony Club.

“Change Me” – DYLYN

DYLYN is a dangerous python. She can shape-shifting and writhe in whatever style of music you hand her. With “Change Me,” a dirty, low-key rock banger, she lets her voice escape from its toothy cage to light a fire beneath her feet. She lets the flames follow her around and leaves scorched earth in her wake. “Cut me loose and I′m done looking back / ‘Cause I can′t even see straight / Keep it cool but I’m wasting my chance,” she crows. The blanket of sound shakes you loose from your seat, and you can’t help but get lost in her bedeviling haze.
