Artist: Kameron Marlowe,

Album: Sad Songs for the Soul

Release Date: Feb. 21

Kameron Marlowe is about to share a collection of country tunes that will remind folks just why country music is known as the genre that tells real-life stories of pain and heartbreak. Fittingly titled, Sad Songs for the Soul, the 10-track collection has the country crooner packing in the emotion and belting out his vocals over stirring melodies and meaningful lyrics that will have one in a mood to nurse wounds with whiskey. Marlowe looked to producer Ben West to make the project come to life and has shared more about what the tracks mean to him ahead of his release.

“I’ve had these songs for a while now, but I was never sure if I wanted to actually release them all. I kept coming back to the idea of doing a concept record of only sad songs but was honestly nervous that it might be too different from what fans are used to hearing from me,” Marlowe revealed in a press release. “I wanted to push the boundaries a little and put out an unexpected, soulful, stripped project full of heartbreak at all stages in life… You can really feel the pain behind each song and I hope fans enjoy this new side.”

In March, Marlowe, who is currently a supporting act for Parker McCollum’s What Kinda Man Tour, will hit the road later this year for the next leg of his Keepin’ The Lights On World Tour.

Artist: Kasey Tyndall,

Album: Kasey Tyndall

Release Date: Feb. 28

Kasey Tyndall is gearing up to introduce her music to an even broader audience with her self-titled debut album, Kasey Tyndall, dropping on Feb. 28 via MNRK Music. Already, Tyndall has treated fans to a few new tracks from the upcoming project. They include lead single “Crystal Methodist,” and songs “Not As I’ve Done,” and “Pulling Weeds.” According to Country Now, Tyndall’s project is her most vulnerable thus far as she relates to each track she chose to cut.

“Not As I’ve Done” is a sentimental track that pays tribute to Tyndall’s 16-month-old daughter, as she delivers helpful advice to her child as a loving mother. “Pulling Weeds” finds the artist turning a new leaf by ditching her bad habits. Meanwhile, “Crystal Methodist” highlights all of the different kinds of folks living in small towns and how they not only separately represent a place, but also unite as one. Folks will have to wait just a few more weeks to hear the rest of the tunes on Kasey Tyndall, but judging by the songs Tyndall has already shared, her debut album is bound to see her making her mark in country music.
