The Voice is back and bolder than ever. NBC has officially confirmed that the hit singing competition will return for Season 28 in Fall 2025, bringing with it a red-hot mix of returning coaches ready to battle it out for the crown.
Whether you’re here for powerhouse vocals or the playful back-and-forth between mentors, this season promises big voices, bigger personalities, and a coaching lineup that fans will love.
Your Favorite Coaches Are Back!
Season 28 will feature a blend of familiar faces, giving Artists a dream team of mentors to learn from. After a winning run in Season 26, Michael Bublé is back for his third consecutive season—and he’s clearly at home in his big red chair. He even vacationed with former coach Adam Levine and recently gave Kelsea Ballerini some advice during a hilarious prank call that proved how much fun happens behind the scenes.
Joining him again is Reba McEntire, who initially won Season 25 and returns to reclaim her country queen title after sitting out Season 27. Her Voice history runs deep—she was a Battle Advisor all the way back in Season 1 and returned as a Mega Mentor in Season 23 before becoming a Coach.
Niall Horan is also back after a short break to tour the globe. The pop superstar won Season 23 with Gina Miles and partially coached Season 24 before leaving for his tour. Now that he’s off the road, he’s ready to reclaim his seat and go for another win!
Snoop Dogg Returns to The Voice
Carson DalyAfter a strong debut in Season 26, Snoop Dogg took a season off but teased his interest in returning—and now it’s official. The hip-hop legend brings serious genre-spanning knowledge and major charisma to the panel, telling Carson Daly, “It’s been a great experience for me… I could come back and do it again.” And come back he did.
During a 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Snoop said, “This is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music and to be a real Coach. And to really give direction to some of these Artists that could be, you know, today’s next big thing.” Add to that his new multi-year deal between NBCUniversal and his production company Death Row Pictures, and it’s clear Snoop isn’t just passing through—he’s here to stay.
When and Where to Watch?
The Voice Season 28 premieres September 2025, airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC, with next-day streaming available on Peacock. The show will switch to Mondays in October due to NBA coverage.
