“Not At This Party” — Dasha
Dasha’s brand new track “Not At This Party” proves she is more than just a one-hit wonder. The banjo-laden tune, which features an energetic stomping beat and enthusiastic hand claps, is all about being hung up over an ex-lover to the point where you can’t enjoy being in the moment.
“I’m not at this party / I’m back in your backseat / You’re pulling it over / You just had to have me / I can’t hear this music / Cause I’m hearing you yell / You’re so in love with me but right now you need to work on yourself / They think I’vemoved on with my life / And I’m having a good night / I’m here on this dance floor / Just like everybody / But nobody here knows just how bad you got me / I’m not at this party,” Dasha sings throughout the chorus of another dance-worthy banger.
“Not At This Party” follows a handful of single releases from Dasha, including her viral smash “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” from her debut album What Happens Now? The hit track produced by Ben Johnson and co-penned by Dasha with Ashley Gorley and Johnson, serves as the first taste of what fans can expect from Dasha’s next album.

“New Boots” — Just Jayne
After introducing themselves with their hit-worthy single “This Morning” — a response song to Morgan Wallen’s smash“Last Night” — Just Jayne is back with a refreshing new tune entitled “New Boots.” Singing about a topic that’s as country as country can be, “New Boots” features Just Jayne’s stunning layered harmonies as they give a deeper meaning to a broken-in pair of irreplaceable leather Boots.
“I don’t want new boots / They never fit quite right / Old knew me better than new ones could ever / Ain’t nothing like something familiar / Don’t wanna start again / Breaking new leather in / Time will do what it do / To tell you the truth / They just don’t make ‘em like you / I don’t want new boots,” the girls sing over a laid-back country melody, making their mark as a group that’s worthy of winning awards.
The Nashville-based female country trio made up of tunesmiths Taylor Edwards, Jillian Steele, and Rachel Wiggins collaborated with Jackson Foote and Sam Ellis on the song lyrics while Ellis takes credit as the producer on the radio-ready track.

“COUNTRYSTAR” — Sam Williams
Sam Williams may be the son of Hank Williams Jr. and the grandson of Hank Williams, but he is an artist with his own sound. And, he is stepping outside of the traditional ways of prominent lineage with his latest track “COUNTRYSTAR.” At a time when country music is embracing other genres and expanding into subgenres, Williams’ track fits right in. The tune features the queer country artist showcasing his soothing and laid-back vocals over a catchy hip-hop beat.
Taking to Facebook, Williams opened up about his new release, captioning, “I grew weary of the pain songs, ran for my life a bit, looked inside and found a new sound that’s still all me. Welcome to the next chapter xx.”
“My family’s history is storied and I always wondered how I fit into it. I wanted to figure it out on an identity level and a musical scale. I still do, but as the stones on the way turn over the path is clearer,” he wrote in a separate post. “The first album I played until ruin was Chris Brown’s debut…. Something about R&B felt so real to me. I think I loved the emotion. Later, growing to love hip hop so much was sort of inevitable in terms of rebellion and the internet. But it’salways been about messages to me, and there’s an unapologetic expression in rap that feels powerful and poignant.”
“COUNTRYSTAR” is slated to appear on Williams’ forthcoming album Act II CountryStar, due out July 11.“COUNTRYSTAR” follows 2024’s Act I Scarlett Lonesome and 2022’s Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown.

“I Ain’t Askin’” — Kasey Tyndall
Kasey Tyndall brings the heat with her new, sultry single “I Ain’t Askin’” from her self-titled debut album, Kasey Tyndall. Written with Matt Mulhare, Gary Garris, and Nick Columbia “I Ain’t Askin’” is an earworm that’s dripping with desire with Tyndall fixated on one thing and one thing only — romance. Tyndall doesn’t drop hints to her love interest but rathermakes clear that she is occupied with their physical connection after waiting all day to see him.
“You’ve been on my mind ever since you hit the road / Couldn’t wait to beat you home / Get to lovin on you my way might not make it past the kitchen / I ain’t needing permission / Let’s get down to the business / I’ve been needing all day / The way that you hold me / The way that you know me / Yeah I gotta have it / Naw I ain’t asking,” Tyndall sings over moody electric guitars, insisting that she doesn’t want anything to stand in the way of getting what she wants.
“I Ain’t Askin’” gives listeners a different side of Tyndall and follows previously released songs, “Men Like You” and“Crystal Methodist.”

“Heavy Metal” — Austin Snell
Austin Snell has a cure for anyone who has dealt with heartbreak. The country rocker has unleashed a new tune called“Heavy Metal” that is just as fierce as its title. Featuring a rock-heavy sound perfect for an arena setting and storyteller country lyrics, “Heavy Metal” finds Snell putting the pedal to the metal as he ruminates over a recent split.
If the subject content isn’t enough for listeners, Snell’s ability to blur the lines between rock and country will have folks singing along in a Chevy, tearing up the road broken heart or not.
“Heavy Metal” is the latest track from the Dublin, Georgia native following his recent collaboration with Brantley Gilbert on “Muddy Water Rockstar.”
