Grab your camo, cue the duck calls, and fire up the deep fryer—Duck Dynasty is officially back, y’all.
The beloved Robertson clan is returning to television with Duck Dynasty: The Revival, premiering June 1st on A&E (after a slight schedule shuffle from the original May 28 date). For fans who’ve missed the beards, the Bible verses, and the beautifully chaotic family dinners, this is the comeback we didn’t know we needed but deserve. But before we dive into what’s next, let’s look at what the original cast has been up to since we last left the bayou.
Where is the original ‘Duck Dynasty’ cast now?
When Duck Dynasty ended its 11-season run in 2017, it had already made history. At its 2013 peak, 11.8 million people tuned in to watch the season four premiere, making it the most-watched nonfiction telecast in cable history. And now, nearly eight years later, the Robertson family is still just as busy (and just as beardy).
Phil Robertson founded Duck Commander back in 1972 and remained the family patriarch through the series’ run. In recent years, he’s been co-hosting the Unashamed podcast with sons Jase and Alan. In December 2024, Jase shared that Phil had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. While the diagnosis has slowed him down a bit, the family remains focused on keeping him comfortable and supported.
Kay Robertson, aka Miss Kay, never stopped being the family’s heart. After briefly running a bakery and surviving a freak dog bite incident, she’s been focused on family and supporting Phil through his health journey.
Si Robertson, everyone’s favorite iced tea-sippin’ uncle, stayed in the spotlight through podcasts (Duck Call Room), a country band (Uncle Si & The Sicotics), and viral video commentary (Going Si-Ral). In January 2025, he was hospitalized after a hunting accident, but is reportedly doing okay—because, of course, he is. He’s Uncle Si.
Jase Robertson stayed close to home, restoring a wedding venue with his wife, Missy, and returning to reality TV in Duck Family Treasure. The couple even adopted a child in 2022 after a woman Jase baptized gave birth while incarcerated.
Missy Robertson, besides co-authoring the Princess in Camo book series and raising a blended family, launched her own children’s book through Brave Books. She remains deeply involved in both faith-based work and family projects.
Willie Robertson, the CEO and business brain behind Duck Commander, has stayed in the public eye through books, podcasts, and The Masked Singer (yes, he was the Mallard). He also helped produce His Story: The Musical, a pop retelling of Jesus’s life.
Korie Robertson, Willie’s wife and camp crush turned co-CEO, has juggled life as an author, producer, and mom to a growing brood of kids and grandkids. She’s been the emotional glue of the family’s ventures, both on and off screen.
John Luke Robertson got married on Duck Dynasty, had three kids, wrote a fiction series, and now runs a Christian summer camp and coffee roasting business. A man of many hats—and yes, one of them is camo.
Sadie Robertson Huff, the family’s breakout star, danced her way into America’s heart on Dancing with the Stars, became a best-selling author, launched the Live Original brand, and is now a mom of two (with baby No. 3 on the way).
Jep Robertson and wife Jessica moved to Texas and briefly ran a food truck. They returned to reality TV with Duck Family Treasure and recently co-authored a children’s book, Dear Valor, inspired by their adopted son Gus.
In short? The dynasty never really disappeared—it just diversified.
What to expect from the new ‘Duck Dynasty’
With Duck Dynasty: The Revival, A&E is giving fans the ultimate reunion-meets-new-era experience. Premiering June 1 at 9 p.m., the series kicks off an all-new chapter focused on Willie and Korie as they lead the next generation of Robertsons into adulthood—and into the ever-evolving family business.
Expect plenty of familiar faces—Miss Kay, Uncle Si, and even some epic beards you’ll swear are sentient at this point. But the real intrigue lies in watching the next-gen Robertsons (John Luke, Sadie, Bella, Rebecca, Will) step into the spotlight. Parenthood, marriage, business ventures—it’s all on the table, along with a side of sweet tea and a sermon or two.
The new series doesn’t just revisit the past. It builds on the legacy. As Duck Commander expands beyond duck calls, Willie finds himself navigating the challenge of keeping the business—and the faith—alive in a world that’s changed a lot since 2013. And spoiler alert: the kids aren’t always as “Robertson” as he expects. Hijinks? Definitely. Heart? Always.
With a two-season order already in place, Duck Dynasty: The Revival promises a deeper, more dynamic look at the Louisiana legacy that turned duck calls into cultural currency. And let’s be honest—no matter how many spinoffs have tried to fill the void, there’s still nothing quite like a Robertson family dinner.
So whether you’re a die-hard fan who’s watched every episode (twice), or someone who just misses the sound of Uncle Si yelling “Hey Jack!” into a camera, Duck Dynasty is back to bless your screen, your soul, and your group text with wild family antics and unexpected life lessons.
