“This album has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally share these songs with you. I’ve lived with them for years, and now it’s time to set them free,” Carpenter shared. “Hey Country Queen captures the essence of girlhood, heartbreak, and love, and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

BED OF ROSES — CAYLEE HAMMACK

When Caylee Hammack began planning for her next offering, Bed Of Roses, her creative wheels started turning, and the result is unlike any other album in the country genre. The female singer/songwriter has paired a novel to go along with the album she co-produced alongside Dann Huff and John Osborne. Hammock worked with New York Times–bestselling author Carolyn Brown on the “Bed Of Roses” book,  published through Podium Entertainment. The book features chapters with the same name as the tracks on the album, making the pairing a unique and memorable undertaking.

“I was a child who grew up on paperback romances stolen from my aunt’s bookshelves. I envisioned each song on this album as a book initially, so writing one to pair with this project felt like a natural move,” Hammack said, in a statement. “As creators, we look for ways to connect with our listeners, and this book was a good avenue to tell some backstories of the heartbreak ballads and love songs on this album while also sharing a new story inspired by the songs after writing them. Life is the bed you make, grow a good one.”

Both Bed Of Roses, the album, and “Bed of The Roses, the book, will become available on March 7.
