“Casseroles” — Hailey Whitters
Hailey Whitters captures the raw emotions of grief and sadness that come after experiencing a difficult loss in her brand new heart-wrenching track, “Casseroles,” out via Pigasus Records / Big Loud Records / Songs & Daughters. Hillary Lindsey, Tom Douglas, and James Slater co-wrote the track, which has become one of Whitters’ most poignant releases to date. “Casseroles” is Whitters’ first release since her critically acclaimed 2023 EP I’m In Love. In a press release, the Iowa-born songstress shared her reason for cutting the tune, and how she connected with it upon first listen.
She said, “During my first listen, I was absolutely floored. I lost my brother suddenly thirteen years ago, and from that moment on, my life was changed forever. I particularly remember everyone bringing loads of food and casseroles over and how I couldn’t eat for days because I was so distraught. Remembering that moment was what made this song hit so heavy for me. What happens when the casseroles stop coming and everyone has moved on, but it feels like you never will? As heavy and somber as the lyric and melody is, I also think there’s hope in the message and pray that it lands between ears that need to hear it.”

“It Was Always You” — Chase Wright
Chase Wright isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. And, in his brand new track aptly titled “It Was Always You,” he does just that. The country artist doesn’t mince words when he sings the lyrics that hold an ex accountable for their actions. Realizing that he isn’t the one to blame in a toxic relationship, he sings: “It was always you saying I’m the problem / Look around, only one of us has got ’em / I’ve been fine since you said goodbye / You’re going outta your mind ’cause you’re out of mine / Ain’t it crazy how crazy follows you around? / Blame me if that’s what you wanna do, yeah / It ain’t hard to see, looking at our history / Between you and me, it was always you.”
“It Was Always You” has resonated with fans far and wide. Upon its release, the track earned Wright one of his biggest first-day streaming days of his career. “Easy Does It” — Emily Ann Roberts
Emily Ann Roberts gets personal in her reflective new country ballad “Easy Does It.” The song serves as her first single of 2025 and follows her debut album, Can’t Hide Country. “Easy Does It,” which launches a new era of music for the singer and former The Voice contestant, is all about finding the right kind of love — one that’s not complicated after having dealt with just the opposite in past relationships. Roberts, who debuted “Easy Does It” during the Grand Ole Opry’s “Opry Goes Dolly” birthday celebration earlier this year, delights fans on the track with her mesmerizing soft and airy vocals over a dreamy and soul-stirring melody as she sings about the one who makes her happy.
“I used to believe love was like a rollercoaster or a confusing game of ‘he loves me, he loves me not.’ When I met my husband, I realized how steady and simple love can be,” Roberts shared of the song via a press release. “This song fell out so naturally when I was writing with Autumn Buysse and Jason Haag. I hope people can relate to it and find that easy lovelike I found.”

“Two Truths & A Lie” — Julie Eddy
Julie Eddy hits the ground running in 2025 with her catchy track, “Two Truths & A Lie.” The mid-tempo tune, which delivers a healthy mix of rock and country, tells the story of two exes seeing each other for the first time after a long break. Leaving a bit of mystery, Eddy doesn’t reveal whether or not she’s still heartbroken after a breakup but rather gives a mixed response that allows her former flame to make an educated guess as to how she’s feeling.
“Two truths and a lie / I’ve been doing good, I’ve been barely getting by / I still think about you in the middle of the night / Which of ’em is true? Baby, you decide, you decide,” Eddy sings. “Two truths and a lie / Beer is better cold and I still call you “mine” / I never say no to a glass of red wine / The earth is round, the sky is blue / And I don’t love you.”
