New country albums are on the horizon for the month of January, and early previews of each record have already found success, earning plenty of plays on the radio airwaves and on streaming services.

The fresh material pouring out of these bonafide country artists is only getting better with each album, showcasing how much they have evolved in their artistry over time. From a legend of The Beatles Ringo Starr to country music star Riley Green, here are six  new albums coming out before the end of the month!

Artist: Ringo Starr,

Album: Look Up

Release Date: Jan. 10

These days, it’s acceptable for artists from other genres to crossover into the country music world. Take for example, Beyoncé and Post Malone. In 2024, both artists dropped a country album, releasing Cowboy Carter and F-1 Trillion, respectively. Now, Ringo Starr is following suit with his forthcoming country music debut, entitled Look Up

Out via UMG Nashville, produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett, and co-produced by Daniel Tashian and Bruce Sugar, Look Up features 11 original tracks that lean on the traditional side of country yet feature some of the minor chord progression stylings that listeners have associated with The Beatles throughout generations. Noteworthy tracks on Look Up include the title track featuring Molly Tuttle, the opener “Breathless” with Billy Strings, and the closer, “Thankful,” featuring Alison Krauss, as well as the previously-released track, “Time On My Hands.” On the album, Starr also shares collaborations with Larkin Poe and Lucius

Of note, Starr, a former drummer ifor the iconic rock band, The Beatles (who also released a handful of country songs years ago), also plays drums on every track on Look Up, recording the set of songs in Nashville and Los Angeles. Look Up is slated for release on January 10, 2025, and will be Starr’s first full-length album of six years and first country collection of 50 years.

Ryan Waters is looking forward to introducing himself to fans with the upcoming release of his debut album entitled All I’ve Ever Known — a body of work he’s been working tirelessly on for a year

A highly personal album, Waters recently took to Instagram, where he provided deeper insight into what to expect out of his collection and also opened up about the inspiration behind his forthcoming album. He captioned, “Growing up, I remember being enamored with the concept of albums—particularly the ones made by my favorite artists. I would stare at the covers for hours, sometimes long before I had even pressed play on whatever now-dated device I was listening to music on then… getting lost in those songs for the first time is a feeling I’ll never forget, the same songs I assume we’ve all been singing along to for decades now when we hear them. This is all just one reason it feels incredibly special for me to announce that MY debut album will be available everywhere on January 17th, 2025.”

Waters also wrote that the songs on the upcoming debutdive pretty deep into some of the best and worst moments of my life,” which is why he gave his collection its All I’ve Ever Known titles. All I’ve Ever Known will follow singles like “Leavin’ A Little,” “Fireplace,” “Easy,” and many other viral hits.
